How to apply a safe and reliable DNS server abroad?

Following the 6 simple steps below, you can enjoy safe and reliable connectivity to the international DNS server. It can help you avoid, domain hijack by local telecommunications as well as enhance your internet browsing speed.


To set up DNS on an Android device, simply follow the steps below:



Note: Interface may vary depending on the brand/model of the smartphone.
Go to the mobile device setting

Go to Wi-Fi




Tap on the currently active network connection for more Wi-Fi properties




Scroll the list and search for “IP address”




Change the selection to “Static”




Important: Before you change your DNS settings to use Google Public DNS, be sure to write down the current server addresses or settings on a piece of paper. It is very important that you keep these numbers for backup purposes, in case you need to revert to them at any time. We also recommend that you screenshot the IP address page , in the event that you encounter a problem and need to refer to these instructions.

Select [Use the following DNS server address], and pick either one DNS server and IP from below. Key in your prefer DNS server and then tap "✔️".



a. Google Public DNS server, you can refer: http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Public_DNS
          DNS 1: 8.8.8.8 
          DNS 2: 8.8.4.4 
b. Open DNS server, you can refer: http://www.opendns.com/
          DNS 1: 208.67.222.222
          DNS 2: 208.67.220.220
